Mental health grades by state
The
National Alliance on Mental Illness gave the USA an overall grade of D
for its delivery of mental health care in a 2009 report. The
organization found problems in every state, but some fared better than
others. Updated reports in 2011 have documented additional cutbacks and
challenges.
