New Juristat publication from Statistics Canada: Co-offending in Canada: 2011
This Juristat article presents information on the nature and
extent of co-offending in Canada. It addresses three key areas in
relation to co-offending, including: the prevalence of co-offending,
factors associated with co-offending and the seriousness of co-offending
(i.e. whether incidents committed by two or more people are more or
less serious than those committed by a lone accused). The article also
examines other aspects related to co-offending, including street gangs,
and clearance rates.
