TVO: Refugee Deportation
Over the past couple of months the Trump administration has announced
the cancellation of the U.S. Temporary Protected Status program for
Haiti and El Salvador. This could mean the expulsion of hundreds of
thousands of people who escaped disasters in their home countries. With
some of those people likely to consider settling in Canada, The Agenda
looks at how this country should respond to the changing situation south
of the border.
